I just g-chatted my sister to see if she was watching former FBI Director James Comey testifying in front of the Senate. As you know Comey was fired by President Trump in the midst of his investigation into Russia's potential involvement in our election. My sister wasn't watching at the time but asked me what I made of the whole thing.
After responding with an expletive I won't share here, I said, "The country is in danger girl." We knew this. But listening to Comey speak about his conversations with Trump, the fact that he admitted emphatically that there was no doubt in his mind that Russia had interfered in our Presidential election, and then his belief that he was fired because he was investigating this theory as well as former national security director Michael Flynn. It all just seems like something out of a reality tv show. Except we're living it, in front of the eyes of the world and we look like fools.
