The 32-year old accountant and part-time fitness trainer hailing from Washington, D.C. doesn’t let anything get in her way of staying fit. Stuck at home with the kids and can’t find a babysitter? No worries. In true Ekman fashion, plant yourself right in front of your couch and get to work. From weighted squats to leg presses, overhead presses, and more, she’s all for unlikely fitness equipment.
So, what happens when you’re traveling or on vacation and want to workout but might not have access to a gym? “Grab a chair girl!!! And put that booty to work,” she captioned one of her many Instagram workout posts, which has built her a loyal following . “With just a chair in the comforts of my hotel I did jump squats to warm up, step ups, split squats, overhead squats, forward and backward lungs, and good mornings. So much more you can do with just a chair.”
