Just last year, Rihanna and the brand adored by none other than Carrie Bradshaw surprised with a denim-driven line that received much praise and even crashed the Manolo site upon its arrival. If anyone remembers, the “9 to 5” belted denim thigh high boots were a standout of the collaboration with everyone from Taraji P. Henson to Jennifer Lopez rocking them to perfection.
Dubbed ‘So Stoned,’ Rihanna’s new limited-edition line boasts for four new styles that are super stylish, of course, and a pretty penny ($1,265 to $2,325) to call yours. This time around, PVC, perspex heels, and beautiful jeweled stones are the focus with silhouettes ranging in height and style. There’s everything from a mid-calf gladiator sandal to an ankle strap sandal and a mule.
Last May, Blahnik shared with Footwear News that it has been quite an experience working with Rihanna, saying, “I appreciate that she has her own style and is not afraid to wear what she likes.”
We can definitely second that statement, as Rihanna has glow-up throughout the years, blossoming into a true fashion icon. The final collection, ‘So Stoned,’will be available for purchase in select Manolo Blahnik stores and online on July 6.
