At this point, we should just assume anytime something that's sorta-kinda a big deal happens, the Internet is going to turn into a thing, most likely a thing totally opposite from what it was intended to be.
After years of expecting Barbie to step out the house with the same ol' bae, even after getting her total makeover last year, Mattel finally upgraded Ken too, releasing 15 new, diverse versions of the male Barbie doll. Good news right? Well, yes, we're all thrilled that there's not just one Black Ken doll anymore or only the white surfer boy-next-door type of companion for our girl, but for some women, these dolls are a little too realistic. I.e. they're basically f-ck boys in plastic form. I blame it on the man buns, skinny jeans, cornrows and Tims, none of which appear to be sold separately.
Regardless of whether or not you agree, the Internet had a field day with these new dolls and, consequently, so did we. Check out the best reactions.
