We didn’t report on this news at the time, but last month legendary record executive L.A. Reid stepped down from his position as the chairman of Epic Records amid allegations of sexual harassment.
Few artists have spoken about the whole ordeal. After all, whether he’s employed or not, Reid still has plenty of connections in the industry and speaking against him could be considered risky.
But apparently, T-Boz is not among the shook.
During a recent interview with Billboard, while Chilli buried her head in her hands, T-Boz said:
“I hear more people are coming out saying stuff,” says Watkins, as Thomas buries her face in her hands. “I was surprised he was fired, but [the accusations] didn’t come as a surprise. I don’t wish him anything ill. But surprised? No.”
Interesting indeed, considering Pebbles and her kids keep pushing this story that Chilli had some type of sexual relationship with their father. Let T-Boz tell it, they should have been directing their anger elsewhere.
