I can’t recall many of the winners of “America’s Next Top Model,” but Naima Mora is certainly one of them. Today, the cycle 4 (2005) winner of the show finds her name back in the headlines for a less celebratory occasion.
According to TMZ, she’s filed a sexual harassment suit against her former place of employment, the Alberta Ferretti boutique in West Hollywood, where she worked as a sales associate.
Mora claims that for four months in 2015, she was on the receiving end of inappropriate comments and unwanted advances that culminated on October 1 when the manager spanked her after a meeting in front of the entire staff.
Mora, 33, says that she was further assaulted when the same manager shoved her head. From there, she claimed things only got worse.
When she reported the incidents to the HR department, she called them useless. As a result of their inaction, Mora said she started suffering panic attacks on her way to work and eventually had to resign.
Since winning the modeling competition, Naima did work for publications like Cover Girl, Elle Magazine and US Weekly.
